On May 5th, 1974 Happy Daze RV was founded by Fred Lemke while he was still enrolled in college part-time, at the age of only 21. Over the last 30 years, Happy Daze RV has become one of the largest Recreational Vehicle dealers in California .
Our RV dealership started as a small two acre lot that has now expanded to a full seven acres. Happy Daze RV has grown to over 75 employees; some have been with the Happy Daze family for over 20 years. We also have multiple service centers with professionally trained and factory certified technicians. Our motor home rental department is also available to serve your rental needs. Still family owned and operated, Happy Daze RV continues to grow.
An accomplishment of which we are very pleased is that over 48% of our business comes from referrals who have been sent to us by members of our customer family. Fred Lemke was one of the original founders of the California Recreational Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA). He has served as the organization's Treasurer and on the Board of Directors. He was also President of the Sacramento RVDA and served on the Board of Delegates for the National RVDA. Working hand in hand with California RVDA, our founder has also been involved in passing legislation to protect the RV consumer.
Our dealership has received awards of excellence from National RV, Coachmen, Fleetwood, and Newmar.
