Do I Need My Own Insurance?
Insurance is required for all RV rentals. All rentals require an insurance binder unless the renter purchases insurance through Happy Daze RV.
Renters are liable for the first $1,000 per accident or occurrence. Renters are required to provide a security hold to cover the insurance deductible.
For trailer rentals, you will be given a rental liability form to have your insurance carrier sign stating that your tow vehicle will remain fully covered while towing the trailer. This is required by our insurance carrier.
Can I Leave My Vehicle on Your Lot While Renting the RV?
Unfortunately, we do not have parking available while you are on your trip.
Can I Bring My Pet?
We have a few pet friendly units, which are subject to availability and an additional $10 per night.
Can I Pay with Cash or Check?
You can pay with cash or check. A check must be given 14 business days in advance. You must also have a credit card in your name so we have it on file.
What Is the Cancellation Policy?
There is a $50.00 non-refundable cancellation fee if you cancel more than 30 days prior to departure. If the rental is cancelled fewer than 30 days prior to departure, 100% of the reservation deposit will be retained.
Motorhomes - generator is available for only $3.00. Trailers - no generator available.
Do I Need My Own Utensils and Bedding?
Yes, you will need to bring your own supplies.
How Does the Mileage Work?
Motorhomes - You will receive a total of 100 free miles per night rented. Anything over that is 37 cents per mile ($0.37).
When Do I Need to Return the Rental?
Rentals are due back by 11am on your designated return date. There is $50 charge for every hour late. We can't check your rental back in until all of your belongings are removed as well as cleaning and dumping the unit. Please allow yourself time to do this before turning in your rental by 11am
Do I Have to Clean the Unit Before Bringing It Back?
You are responsible for cleaning the interior and dumping the holding tanks. If the unit is brought back and needs to be cleaned, there will be an hourly charge. You can purchase our No Hassle Return prior to departure for $199.
How Do I Reserve the Rental?
It takes only $200 to reserve the rental. The $200 hold will go towards your rental fees. The $200 will not be charged and reservation will not be confirmed until we send the rental documents, have your cancellation policy back signed and confirmed details. Event periods require a $500 reservation deposit.
What Can I Expect on Day of Picking up Rental?
On pick up day, you will have a walk through, and the remaining rental fees are due along with the damage deposit.
Will I Get My Deposit Back?
The damage deposit will be refunded as long as there is no damage or additional fees owed such as cleaning, mileage, or generator.
Can I Smoke in the RV?
No. There is no smoking allowed. If there is any sign of smoking in the unit your full deposit will be forfeited.
